Heidimae Martin, PA-C, completed Master's Degree of Physician Assistant studies at University of New Mexico. She completed her undergraduate studies with two Bachelor of Science Degrees in Biology and Psychology. Following graduation, she worked as a surgery scheduler and as a nurse tech before beginning Physician Assistant school.
Heidimae has always had a passion for medicine, fascinated by the beauty of human anatomy and the physics of the body. She feels that orthopedics emphasizes an appreciable marriage of these topics. She enjoys patient interaction, grateful for the opportunity to get to know and care for a wide variety of people. She gains satisfaction knowing she can be a kind and compassionate provider for patients, assisting them on their road to recovery while developing meaningful provider to patient relationships.
She is originally from Fond du Lac, Wisconsin but she has lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico for the last 20 years. She recently moved to Farmington and is looking forward to participating in more outdoor activities while living in the area, such as hiking, backpacking, and kayaking. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing, painting, reading, film, exercise, and playing board games with friends.
